Ryan Donaldson

A photographic reflection of our world, inside and outside of Caledon.

Bio: Ryan Donaldson is a photographer who has lived in Caledon for most of his life. His work primarily focuses on five areas of photography: automotive, long exposure, portrait, architectural, and abandoned spaces.

Ryan first dabbled in photography in 2008 while attending high school, beginning with film before transitioning to digital. After graduating, he pursued photography on and off as a hobby until 2021, when his partner became pregnant. In early 2026, Ryan rediscovered his love for photography and began practicing more intensely, this time with his daughter by his side.

Photography brings Ryan tremendous joy, particularly the process of finding beauty in the things people see every day. He strives to translate that perspective into every photograph he takes. More than anything, Ryan hopes to show people that what may seem mundane, overlooked, or forgotten can be beautiful and extraordinary.
