Bio:
Often painting ‘en plein air’, Kayla Jackson’s countryside landscapes and house portraits explore the emotion, nostalgia and light of simple moments of gratitude.

She continues to express love for rural Caledon in a new series ‘Country Roads’, intensely colourful, impressionistic oil paintings of simple life.
She is a graduate of the Sheridan College Bachelor of Illustration, class of 2019, and the Mayfield Secondary School’s Regional Arts Program.
Kayla was awarded the ‘Best Local Artist’ Orangeville Banners Readers’ Choice Award 2020, and is a member of Headwaters Arts and Credit Valley Artisans.
