E. Connie Munson
Chasing the light and working with nature’s paintbrush is the basis for her photography. The ephemeral, yet enduring images, are highly evocative, be they vistas or landscapes of the heart.
Bio: Passionate about all things photography, E. Connie Munson has built five darkrooms, is planning number six, and works with pastels, sometimes acrylics. She is an active member of several arts organizations, serving on boards, committees, editor of newsletters, and volunteering as needed.
Showing her work in area galleries, most notably her recent honours have included pieces hung in the a la carte Gallery of the O.L.A. at Queens Park, along with honorable mentions of pieces at Joshua Creek Heritage Arts Centre and Beaux Arts Gallery, plus third place for a piece hung in the Members Only show at the McMichael Gallery.
Most recently the Honorable Mayor Groves chose a piece to donate to the Arts Auction for the Headwaters Health in Orangeville. Other work hangs in the Dufferin Board of Trade.
