Robert D Norman

Life-long traditional artist with experience in a variety of subjects and mediums.

Bio:

Robert emigrated from England in 1967. He retired in 2002 after a lengthy career as an Aerospace Design Engineer having spent much of his time working on a variety of NASA’s Space Programs.

Parallel to his professional career, he has been very successful in the production and sale of his Ink Art rendering drawings of streetscapes and buildings of interest, often being commissioned for personal projects.

At the present time, Robert has chosen to paint using acrylics, and the subjects he chooses are varied, His style at this time is traditional, but is experimenting with others.

Robert is a past Artist Member of Headwaters Arts at the Alton Mill Art Center and has sold his artwork there, and at many other exhibitions. He is presently an Artist member in the Orangeville Art Group.

Artwork Inspiration: From the challenge of the subjects chosen to use, which can be anything from a portrait to landscape, and anything in between

Mediums: Pencil, charcoal, pastel, watercolour, oil, India ink, mixed media, and currently, acrylic
