Genni has loved art and horses since the time she was five years old. She always knew from a very young age that her life path would take her on a journey of self-discovery through her love and appreciation of art and the natural world.
Genni began her post-secondary studies at the world-renowned Classical Animation program at Sheridan College in 1980, graduating in 1984. She then began her professional career, first in Ottawa at Crawley films, then joining Toronto’s Nelvana, one of North America’s largest animation studios, in 1987. She worked as a Layout Artist on many well-known series for television, eventually transitioning exclusively into digital Storyboarding by 2004.
She has returned to painting full time after a long and fulfilling career in animation in 2013.
