Camille actively pursues inspirational ideas that reflect her philosophy of the impact that art has on everyday life – art that stimulates the viewer’s reaction and dialogue.
An award winning artist in various media, she has studied at McMaster University, the University of Western Ontario, London Teachers College and the Ontario College of Education. On graduation with a teaching degree, her extensive teaching career spanned grades 5 to 13 – and adult education groups.
A lifelong learner/student, she continues to study with internationally recognized instructors in several media. She travels extensively to study and also to conduct workshops.
Camille works in mixed media, collage, acrylics watercolor, printmaking, in addition to the medium of porcelain/china – in which she has earned the designation of Certified Master Artist and Master Teacher.
Being affiliated with and having served in leadership positions in several art associations, she is currently a member of: Color & Form Society, Central Ontario Art Association, Dunedin Fine Art Center, Neilson Park Creative Center, and Humber Valley Art Club.
Participating in many juried, invitational, group and solo shows internationally, she has won many awards – including several Best of Show. Her art techniques have been published in art magazines in Australia, Canada, England, Finland, Italy, Norway, Switzerland and the United States. Her artwork is in the art collections of art lovers in several of these countries.
A juror at numerous art shows, she has exhibited, taught and demonstrated various techniques in mixed media, collage, acrylic, watercolor & porcelain/china in Canada, several European countries and the United States.
