Nancy Early

Nancy’s love of local history has inspired her to write ‘family’ books – picture books meant for the entire family to enjoy, and learn more about history in the area.

Bio: In 2020, Nancy launched her first family picture book Once Upon a River: Celebrating 200th Anniversary of Alton Village. She collaborated with award-winning illustrator Kasia Charko (also from Alton). It’s the first in a series of historical non-fiction picture books for audiences, young and old.

In 2019, Nancy’s musical adaption of the children’s classic Little Women hit the Theatre Orangeville stage. Over the years, she has contributed to In the Hills Magazine, Metroland’s Passport to Discovery, Nelvana’s Care Bear TV show, and as a travel writer/producer for On Top of the World Too.

Currently Nancy also enjoys working for Caledon Public Library.
