

Darlene Hartung
Hyper-realism style using pencils to bring the most detail possible out of an image.
Bio: Darlene was born and raised on a farm in Bruce County now living in Cheltenham, Ontario. Darlene has turned her lifetime hobby into an award-winning career and maintains a studio in Glen Williams, Ontario. Teaching art allows Darlene to share the love of drawing.
Four prominent institutions where Darlene’s work is on permanent display are Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, Homewood Hospital, Guelph, Princess Margaret Hospital, Toronto, and the Sunlife Head office, Waterloo.
Most recently she has won the Peoples Choice Award for “The Book Ring” at the 2020 Overzealous Fine Art Exhibition “Re-Imagined”, held at the Art Space Connect Gallery in Toronto. As well as being a semi-finalist The Artbox Project 2021, an international juried competition held in Zurich, Switzerland.
